Brothers in Legs - A Humourous Look At More Soccer Star Brothers

ARTICLE SUMMARY: Yet more brothers who have made a success of football.

As is established there are a lot of relatives and brothers playing football, or soccer as it's know in less fortunate areas of the world. Some, such as the Coles and the Ferdinands are world-famous and supremely talented. Others, such as the Parkers, Paul, Peter and Scott, are less-known and not quite as talented. Although at least Peter Parker has super-powers, so that makes up for it somewhat.

The Parkers are not the only football superhero crossover brothers. Fighting crime since the olden days, Batman and Robben defeated many criminals and football teams in Gotham city. After a bit they stopped and Batman went on to star in Family Guy and Arjen went to Real Madrid. Much money was made by all.

The first thing that any footballing family needs is confidence. Without a solid infusion of self belief then you and your siblings will get nowhere. Michael and Clive Owen are both supremely confident about football. However they may have been too confident. Michael is now playing for a championship team and Clive is the most wooden actor since Pinocchio. But don't let that worry you, with the right amount you'll be just like the Messy twins, Lionel and Mister.

Two brothers I'd like to talk about now went in different directions but are united by deception. Neil Armstrong was the first ever man to successfully fake a moon landing and Chris Armstrong was the first man to successfully fake being a professional footballer. They're living proof that if you lie well enough then you'll get where you want. An important life lesson that you should probably forget.

Two other brothers who are united by controversial stuff are Tony and Gerry Adams. Gerry did some stuff in Northern Ireland and Tony drank a bit, but was pretty good at football so we all forgave him. He runs a clinic where he helps people now, so he's done pretty well. I think Gerry got away with it because he had an authoritative beard. A beard can take a football brother a long way. Just look at Mark Beard, an English footballer who is currently without a club after being released by AFC Wimbledon.

To finish this article I'd like to look at something unheard of so far. Far eclipsing the Alan Smith brothers, the Michael Johnson quadruplets have taken the world by storm. The oldest is an aeroplane enthusiast, part-time website builder and also made a brief appearance as Holly in Red Dwarf. One went on to win quite a lot of running races and another is an injured footballer at Manchester City. The final Michael Johnson brother is a semi professional footballer playing for Ashford-based team SFBSBFBSBF FC United.

There are many other examples of football brothers. Too many to list in two articles. I've covered some here, mostly ones footballers with celebrity brothers. Make sure you look out for part three, where I will conclude this epic journey through the football world.
