Newcastle v Sunderland 1 Feb 2009 a Betfair Experiment

The News - Latest News
Written by Jack
Sunday, 01 February 2009
Following on from yesterdays disaster of THREE nil-nil draws, I've developed another idea to eliminate the "no profit trade position" when using the Betfair football odds and in-play services.

For the Newcastle - Sunderland match I'm going to place a correct score bet 0-0 to cover my Lay bet on a draw. When the match goes "In-Play"; all I have to do is wait until the first goal is scored and the draw price to increase before taking a guaranteed profit regardless of the final outcome. Of course the 0-0 bet will be lost but it was just a precaution to cover my Lay bet in the first place (lesson learnt from yesterday's fiasco).

This is today's experiment!

Stoke v Man City 31 Jan 09 A Betting Experiment

The News - Latest News

Saturday, 31 January 2009

Following on from my successful Portuguese minor league football experiment from last night; I decided to invest in today's (31:01:09) early doors match between Stoke & Manchester City.

The formula is the same.

The outcome is guaranteed!

Go to Betfair.com

Betfair opens a "market" for each event.

There after; greed takes over (oh, BF takes 5% of winning bets... and STAKE).

The very basic rule is to "BET HIGHEST POSSIBLE PRICE" >>> "LAY AT THE LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICE"

Here I present an alternative WHEN BETTING FOOTBALL.

"LAY THE DRAW" - GO INTO PLAY - "ADJUST ODDS AT 85 MINUTES"

If you don't have a Betfair account you can click the banner above... I'll get a small payment and YOU will ALSO!

Identity Fraud Centre...Check Your Status for Free

Did you know…that identity fraud is one of the UK’s fastest-growing crimes, with more than 120,000 cases recorded last year?

  • It takes an average of 539 days to discover that you’ve become a victim of identity fraud – and up to 500 hours of work to clear your name!
  • One in four UK adults has either been a victim of ID fraud or knows someone who had suffered from it, according to Which?
  • Londoners are twice as likely to have their identity stolen by criminals as people in other parts of the UK? People in the South East and North West are the next most vulnerable.
  • You are at risk of having your identity stolen if you don’t redirect your post after moving home?
  • Almost half of all adults in the UK have been targeted by criminals trying to get personal financial data over the internet or phone – and that five per cent of people fall for these scams?

Identity theft is a term used to refer to fraud that involves pretending to be someone else in order to steal money or get other benefits. The term is relatively new and is actually a misnomer, since it is not inherently possible to steal an identity, only to use it. The person whose identity is used can suffer various consequences when he is held responsible for the perpetrator's actions.

Bet Fair OR Bet Against or For

Go to Betfair.com

As a sports fan, I'm appalled by the disregard and blantant abuse of sporting talent.

HOWEVER...

Going GREEN with Betfair can often soften the "blow"

My latest bet involved a "team"; quite possibly a football team!

I had absolutely NO IDEA where they were located.

My ONLY interest was in the "trade".

You see...

Pacific Bread Maker User Guide Page 5 and 6

Even cheap bread makers can produce good results if the right ingredients are used in the right proportionsThe Pacific Compact Bread Maker (Model Number PB-002) is a cheap and cheerful electronic device that takes the hard labour out of making small batches of home made bread. I bought mine from Asda about two years ago for £12.99 and baked many loaves in first month or so experimenting with lots of weird and wonderful recipes. Then like most people, one day I consigned the device to a storage cupboard and more or less forgot about it.

The recent price rises of basic food stuff and in particular bread has made home baking a practical way to save money and also control the amount of sugar and salt used in the ingredients. I dug out the old bread maker, cleaned it up and then set about baking my first batch of bread since buying the device two years previously. However, unfortunately during the two year storage period the Pacific Compact Bread Maker (Model Number PB-002) user manual had gone walkabout.

I decided to "wing-it" and use a modified version of the recipe printed on the back of a bag of Allinson Strong Bread Flour.

This turned out to be a BIG mistake!

Information republished from the Laughing Camel Virtual Road Trips: Written by Passepartout

Glasgow has had more than its fair share of ups and downs - from a major industrial port known as the "Second City of the British Empire" in the Victorian era, to bleak industrial decline of enormous proportions, and a cultural renaissance in the 1980s and 1990s. Today, Glasgow is Scotland's largest and most "vibrant" city. Following its year as European City of Culture in 1990 and UK City of Architecture and Design in 1999, it is one of Europe's top twenty financial centres, has a thriving and varied cultural scene, and is the second largest shopping centre in the UK after London. It has a wealth of cultural attractions and activities that attract over 3 million tourists from all over the world each year. Many of these visitors regularly report on the welcome they have received - Glaswegians are well known for their hospitality and generosity of spirit. The 2014 Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow after Scotland's successful bid to host them. This city which loves to shop makes a great short break destination!

Siamese Cats

Written by Twisted Whiskers/Lesley Webb

Sealpoint SiameseThe Siamese is probably the most widely recognised and well-known breeds of Oriental cat, and among the top 3 most popular breeds of cats. It’s not absolutely certain where they originated, but it’s believed to be in Southeast Asia. They are popularly reputed to be descended from the sacred temple cats of Siam (now Thailand) where they are one of a group of designated auspicious and lucky cats. Thin-bodied cats with colour points that strongly resemble the modern Siamese appear in the 18th century Thai manuscripts of "Tamra Maew" (cat treatise or cat poems).
