I recently received a question regarding www.stumbleupon.com and the worth of signing up for online marketing purposes. "Channel surf the internet with the StumbleUpon toolbar to find great sites, videos, photos and more based on your interests. StumbleUpon learns what you like and makes better recommendations." After just a few days, I can definately confirm that if your web page/site is listed as a "Discovered" site; you'll get an increase in traffic. However, unless the page listed has interesting and unique content things might backfire, as users can give thumbs up or thumbs down. They can also report spam listings aimed solely at link list building. The main danger of using the Stumble Toolbar is that it re-invents the old "surfing" way of navigating the Internet. I stumbled around the web last night for three hours and time juust flew by. I can easily see how this could become addictive. The list below shows the first few posts to my Stumble Blog list.
05 December 2007, 18:58:29 I'm working through the The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts list to see if there's any solutions to the "puzzles".
This site is a great resource for a whole range of whacky ideas: Mysterious Origins of Man Fingerprints of the Gods Alledged "Evidence" of Earth-Crustal Displacement (Pole Shift) Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) Site, Bolivia Archaeology of the Gulf of Cambay ( Khambhat ) Age of the Sphinx Atlantis and Lemuria Out of Place Artifacts 05 December 2007, 18:52:24 The Grooved Stones are listed in "The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts" web page I Stumbled Upon the other day. I'm working through the list to see if there's any solutions to the "puzzles".
This site is not the only one to de-bunk the alien/man made claims. Sadly, this article was Last Updated: April 8, 1996. 05 December 2007, 04:37:45 Good stuff... although some information about the artist would have been better. professorjenkins needs a few lessons in manners. 05 December 2007, 04:29:23 Try reading: The Lying Stones of Marrakech: Penultimate Reflections in Natural History

I took this series of photos on a very windy day 2 years ago. Each figure swayed in the breeze and there was the sound of air whistling through the various gaps in the metal sculptures.
To view the panoramic; you'll have to have a Java viewer loaded. There's also 2 still images of each sculpture.
I liked it, although it did cause some adverse comments from day-trippers. 03 December 2007, 19:29:48 Three beef stew recipes in one article. The author doesn't seem to use much fresh produce, but they would all be very quick to make and do sound tasty. I'm going to republish this on the JackC Blog. 03 December 2007, 19:04:57 I would never have thought to use Campbells Mushroom Soup in a casserole. I tried the cheesy recipe, but used French Fries rather than onion rings. Tasted GREAT! 03 December 2007, 18:50:30 Well, this is MY travel blog. A tale of mutiny, passenger disputes, painting lessons and some great times, sadly ending in sickness and dispare. There's also details of my Crete expedition. 03 December 2007, 18:37:19 His mother has clear links into the "art" of selling art. I liked The Best Loved Elephant. One thing is for sure, when he starts painting the walls, carpets and furniture; his career will probably be over. Also, covering toddlers hands with acrylic paint is probably not very healthy. Still, a good read that made me smile. |
